Awareness Session on the Chief Minister's Balochistan Employment Program

The Directorate of Student Affairs and Academics, Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), successfully organized an Awareness Session on the Chief Minister's Balochistan Employment Program on Thursday, 2 July 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Orange Hall, BUITEMS.
The session was graced by Prof. Dr. Abdul Wadood, Director, Student Affairs and Academics, who attended as the Guest of Honor. The resource persons included Mr. Iftikhar Ahmed Bazai, Consultant, Chief Minister's Balochistan Employment Program, and Mr. Bismillah Khan, Master Trainer. Ms. Saima Masood, Deputy Director, Student Affairs, also attended the session and played an important role in its successful coordination and organization.
The primary objective of the session was to familiarize students with the opportunities available under the Chief Minister's Balochistan Employment Program. The resource persons provided a comprehensive overview of the program's objectives, eligibility criteria, application procedure, training framework, skill development initiatives, and employment prospects. They emphasized the Government of Balochistan's commitment to empowering youth through market-oriented skills training, professional development, and enhanced employment opportunities. Students were encouraged to actively benefit from the program to strengthen their competencies and improve their career prospects.
The awareness session attracted enthusiastic participation from students of the Departments of Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Management Sciences, and other academic departments. Participants actively engaged in the interactive discussions, raised insightful questions, and received detailed guidance regarding the application process, selection criteria, program benefits, and potential career pathways.
During his presentation, Mr. Bismillah Khan, Master Trainer, explained the complete application and selection process, outlining the eligibility requirements and the various stages involved in candidate selection. He encouraged students to prepare themselves professionally to maximize their chances of successfully securing admission to the program.
Mr. Iftikhar Ahmed Bazai, Consultant, Chief Minister's Balochistan Employment Program, highlighted the program's key features, including industry-relevant technical training, accommodation facilities for trainees, and post-training employability opportunities. He emphasized that the initiative is designed to equip young graduates with practical skills aligned with current industry demands, thereby enhancing their prospects for sustainable employment.
In his remarks as the Guest of Honor, Prof. Dr. Abdul Wadood underscored the critical role of skilled and competent youth in the socio-economic development of Balochistan.
